They are worn by men, women and children of all ages and backgrounds. Jeans have long been the preferred choice among the general population.

Egypt is producing a reasonable amount of denim fabric and Jeans and is one of major exporters to important markets in the US and Europe. Also Egypt consumption of Jeans products is increasing which makes the Egyptian garment industry in need to expand their supply chain and recognize recent trends .

Cairo Denim Day (CDD) is organized to address the denim industry professionals to keep abreast of recent trends, fabric innovations and to present a platform for networking and business opportunities
